Cecília’s Ideas, a puppet play with creative installations
The Patética Company is a dynamic group of avant-garde puppet artists, whose nimble fingertips gracefully navigate through various modern and innovative forms of performance. This play draws inspiration from the life episodes of Cecília Meireles, a renowned Brazilian modernist poet, and narrates her imaginative and romantic journey through life. Starting from her innocent and endearing childhood, to her wise and poetic twilight years, the play explores the different stages of Cecília’s life, revealing not only an array of whimsical trinkets within her suitcases but also a crucial secret—how she grows into a great poet. As night descends, Cecília warmly invites you to step into her enchanting realm of memories.
