《罗德琳达》(Rodelinda)是巴洛克时期英籍德国作曲家亨德尔创作的三幕歌剧，剧本由海姆根据萨尔维的同名剧作编撰。1725年2月13日首演于伦敦。连贯的故事情节、生动的人物形象以及与剧情发展相适应的音乐等多种因素，使得该剧取得了巨大成功。
2021年，被誉为欧洲最佳古乐团之一的英国合奏团在指挥大师哈里·毕克特（Harry Bicket）的指挥下，由英国Linn Records唱片公司录制发行了 《罗德琳达》（Rodelinda）全剧的唱片，获得了留声机杂志年度唱片之选、BBC音乐杂志月度唱片之选等推荐。
11月26日，哈里·毕克特(Harry Bicket) 将携英国合奏团及耀眼的歌唱明星——当今古典乐坛最活跃的假声男高音叶斯廷·戴维斯（Iestyn Davies）、阿耶·努斯鲍姆·科恩（Aryeh Nussbaum Cohen）等唱片原班人马来到上海音乐厅，带来此版本亚洲首演，中国仅此一站 ，极为难得。
英国合奏团 The English Concert
英国合奏团于1972年创立于伦敦，自创立伊始乐团便成为国际乐坛中演奏巴洛克音乐和早期音乐的一支中坚力量，乐团在近半个世纪的时间里录制发行了超过200套唱片，其中对于许多音乐作品的演绎被奉为权威，乐团更是先后获得7次留声机大奖、1次BBC音乐杂志大奖、1次全英音乐大奖。作为演绎巴洛克音乐的权威乐团，英国合奏团是欧美各大重要音乐节的常客，他们常年参加的音乐节包括琉森音乐节、英国逍遥音乐节、爱丁堡艺术节等，用最传统的乐器将巴洛克时期最具活力的音乐重现于舞台之上。

One cornerstone of the orchestra’s annual cycle is its international Handel Opera tour. Blossoming from an ongoing relationship with Carnegie Hall, the itinerary now regularly takes in the Theater an der Wien, Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, the Elbphilharmonie and Barbican Hall, and the roster of great halls continues to grow. Meanwhile, our regular London series allows us to explore a radically different path, presenting programmes to our home audience that challenge and inspire us.
In 2023, The English Concert launched their ambitious Handel for All project, which aims to film and make freely available all of Handel’s works online.
Harry Bicket 哈里·毕克特

Internationally renowned as an opera and concert conductor of distinction, Harry Bicket is especially noted for his interpretation of baroque and classical repertoire. Since 2007 he has been Artistic Director of The English Concert, one of Europe’s finest period orchestras, with whom he recently embarked on a project to film every piece of Handel to create an on-line resource for all. He is Music Director of the Santa Fe Opera where his productions include Orfeo, Carmen, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Le nozze di Figaro, Fidelio, La Finta Giardiniera, Cosi fan tutte, Romeo et Juliette, Alcina, Candide and Pelleas et Melisande.
Elsewhere in the U.S., he is a regular guest at the Metropolitan Opera where in 2022 he conducted Rodelinda and Le nozze di Figaro. This season he returns to the Chicago Symphony Orchestra for a special collaboration with the Joffrey Ballet.
He appears frequently in Europe, making his Paris Opera debut last season with Ariodante and returning this season for Giulio Cesare. At the Bavarian State Opera, Munich, he has conducted Rinaldo, Ariodante, Serse, Orlando, Orfeo ed Euridice, Il barbiere di Siviglia, Die Entfuehrung aus dem Serail and Die Zauberfloete. In Barcelona at the Liceu, he was awarded the Opera Critics Prize for best conductor for Giulio Cesare.
A regular guest in the UK, he made his Glyndebourne Festival debut in 1996 in Peter Sellars’s landmark production of Theodora, and has made numerous appearances at the English National Opera, Scottish Opera and Welsh National Opera. His Theodora at the Royal Opera House in 2022 was nominated for an Olivier Award for best new production.
Born in Liverpool, he studied at the Royal College of Music and Oxford University, where he was organ scholar at Christ Church. He was appointed Honorary Member of the Royal Academy of Music in 2018.
Lucy Crowe 露西·克劳

Born in Staffordshire, Lucy Crowe studied at the Royal Academy of Music, where she is a Fellow. She was made an OBE in the 2023 King’s Birthday Honours.
In recital she has appeared at the Concertgebouw, Carnegie Hall, Aldeburgh, Edinburgh, Mostly Mozart and Salzburg Festivals and the BBC Proms. Lucy has a vast discography. Her debut disc for Linn records featuring Berg, Strauss, and Schoenberg was released in the summer of 2021. Lucy received a Grammy nomination in 2021 for Best Opera Recording for Janáček’s The Cunning Little Vixen with the London Symphony Orchestra/ Sir Simon Rattle.

Iestyn Davies is a British countertenor widely recognised as one of the world’s finest singers celebrated for the beauty and technical dexterity of his voice and intelligent musicianship. Critical recognition of Iestyn’s work can be seen in two Gramophone Awards, a Grammy Award, a RPS Award for Young Singer of the Year, the Critics’ Circle Award and recently an Olivier Award Nomination. He was appointed MBE in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours List 2017 for services to music.

His first commercial recording project – the world premiere recording of Kenneth Fuchs’ Poems of Life with the London Symphony Orchestra, conducted by JoAnn Falletta – was honored with a 2019 GRAMMY® Award in the Best Classical Compendium category, which recognizes albums with multiple soloists and multiple works.

Eric Ferring’s recent engagements have included Tamino The Magic Flute, Arturo Lucia di Lammermoor, Pong Turandot and Royal Herald Don Carlo for the Metropolitan Opera, New York; Lurcanio Ariodante for the Opéra national de Paris and the Lyric Opera of Chicago; Lysander A Midsummer Night’s Dream for the Opéra de Rouen Normandie; Fenton Falstaff in Santa Fe and Tamino for the Opéra national du Rhin.
In the 2023/24 season Eric returns to the Opéra de Rouen Normandie as Don Ottavio Don Giovanni, makes his debut with the Opéra de Lille in the same role and sings Grimoaldo Rodelinda in an international concert tour with The English Concert and Harry Bicket. He gives recitals at The Florentine Opera and in Las Palmas and, in concert, he appears with the Tampa Oratorio Singers under Nancy Callahan and with the Dubuque Symphony Orchestra under William Intriligator.

American Bass-baritone Brandon Cedel is a recent graduate of the Metropolitan Opera’s Lindemann Young Artist Development Program, and was an ensemble member of Oper Frankfurt from 2016-2019.
Highlights in his 2023/24 season include a return to the Metropolitan Opera as Dan Brown in a revival of Kevin Puts’ The Hours; a return to the Boston Lyric Opera as Don Magnifico in La Cenerentola, his debut for the Komische Oper, Berlin in the title role of a new production of Hercules, his debut for Des Moines Metro Opera as Goulaud in Pelleas et Mélisande and Garibado in an international concert tour of Rodelinda with The English Concert/Harry Bicket.
